How to Hit Your Income Goals - Even If You’ve Been Stuck for Months

Updated: Jul 23, 2020

Have you ever stared at your bank account and wondered when things were going to finally change?

You’ve created your business plan, you have goals, you know you can achieve them… but for some reason things don’t seem to stick.

Months go by and the money is trickling in, but you aren’t hitting the goals you set for yourself, and you know things can’t keep going on like this forever.

It feels like you are standing in your own way – but you have no idea what to do to change it all.

I’ve been there. It’s hard to feel the weight of your own goals and desires while having them just out of reach.

You can change your circumstances though, I know because I did, and now I surpass my goals every month. My business is thriving, I love what I am doing, and nothing stands in my way.

Coming from a place of being there, knowing how stressful and downright depressing it feels to go day in and day out knowing what you are capable of – but not being able to touch it…

I want to help you get out of that space. I want to help you get out of the “stuck” mindset and start hitting your income goals – start thriving – and really love the work you are doing.

Here are 4 ways you can start hitting your income goals now, even if you have been stuck for months.

Evaluate your mindset.

The first step to getting out of your own way and start hitting the income goals you set for yourself is to evaluate your mindset. Your subconscious beliefs have more influence on your results than your conscious desires.

That constant inner dialogue you have with yourself – what you are and aren’t capable of – is going to keep you from seeing, feeling, and even believing that you can achieve what you set out to do.

So take out your journal, and start to write down what you really believe about yourself and your abilities. Be raw and honest with what comes up, no matter how hard it seems.

Once you have it all written out, you will have a much clearer view of what has been holding you back, and what you need to STOP saying to yourself right now.

Change how you see money.

I actually see this a lot with my clients, they want to make money, be profitable in their business – but on a deeper level they also have this conflicting idea about people who have money.

Rich people are greedy, they are selfish, and bad.

How is it then that they plan to become a rich person if they think this way? No one wants to think these things about themselves so of course your mind and actions are going to subconsciously deflect you from getting there.

If you want to make money you have to believe and know that it is good for you and will make you a better person all around.

You got into business to serve and help others, having more money will help you do that, how is that greedy or selfish, right?

See yourself with money.

Sometimes it is not about whether money is a good thing or a bad thing, sometimes it is simply that you have been struggling so long that you can’t see or really feel what it is like being able to afford and do the things that you have always desired.

This can seem tough but put yourself into “successful you” shoes and embody what it feels like to already have the money you want to earn.

How does it feel now to schedule that vacation?

What runs through your mind as you see ANOTHER payment hit your account?

This is something you can have fun with, a way for you to give yourself a breather. If you find yourself struggling, look into the future and allow yourself to feel and be what you know you are working towards – what you know is coming your way.

Align your action with your goals.

When you have any sort of money block and you are questioning what you are capable of achieving. The action you take is also affected.

Think about it – has there ever been a time where you came across an opportunity to reach out to someone, work with someone, or even begin building a program that will generate revenue for your business – that you stopped in the thought process because “it might not work out”.

Do you question yourself and ignore opportunities because you worry that you might not be good enough?

Are you afraid that taking action will cause you to fail, and that is too much to bear?

All of these thoughts and feelings are holding you back from making it to the other side of success.

So what if something doesn’t work out…. What if it does?

You have to align your actions with what you want to accomplish if you plan to accomplish your goals.

There you have it, 4 ways you can work towards getting unstuck and start making the income you desire.

Are you struggling in any of these areas and need support to overcome the challenges that arise? I am here to help..
